Architectural engineering focus on analysis, design and construction of building systems, which include structural systems: i.e. design of the building exterior; design of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning; lighting and electrical systems design; and construction methods applied to buildings.
The main study of this course revolves around planning, designing, construction with innovation and technical knowledge by applying fundamentals of Mathematics and Physics. Control System Engineering companies and Construction Engineering Technology companies are some of the sectors where qualified architecture engineers are placed.
Employment of architecture and engineering occupations is projected to grow 7 percent over the next ten years, about as fast as the average for all occupations. About 193,200 new jobs are projected to be added.
While a beginner can expect to earn anything between Rs. 1 Lakh to 1.5 Lakh per annum, the salary increases gradually with experience. An experienced architect can command up to Rs. 5 Lakh per annum in the current market.
